Welcome to the real wedding of Snehal & Mahesh who met by chance on a plane and from there on, their love story took its flight towards its forever.
“We met on a plane next to each other. Mahesh found out I was leaving the country for good in a month and it turns out I had signed the contract for the job for the same that very day, the very day I met my soulmate. After that one flight, we kept in touch via emails in a long distance relationship for seven years. While one heart was in Hong Kong and the other was in Mumbai, we still knew this was it and the rest as they say is history.”
“And finally we got married in Goa because this destination holds a special place in our hearts. It was our first getaway destination in 2013 whilst we were dating. We narrowed down on Holiday Inn, Goa for our wedding celebrations.”
“I am a Maharashtrian while my now husband is a Sindhi and we chose to have a Sindhi wedding. It began with a Haldi Mehendi, which then transitioned into a Sangeet and Cocktail followed by the Wedding on the next day. The only wish I had was that I wanted to enter with a Nashik Dhol, Tasha and the Regal Tutaari. And, that’s what we did, whilst I danced my way to my wedding mandap.” I would also like to share that my wedding hashtag was #AboutTimeGagwani because I mean come on seven years of long distance and everyone was waiting, for Mr Gagwani to bring his girl home! The entire story was etched on my mehndi which made it all the more special!
